The heyday of container traffic was in the 1950s and 60s. Withdrawal was mainly in the 1970s. The FM container was used for chilled meat and fish as well as food products such as sausages and pies. Withdrawal took place in the late 1960s.

This finely moulded plastic wagon kit comes complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.

Comes with metal wheels. Coupling required.
