I recommend getting high quality rechargeable AA batteries. "Ikea Ladda 2450 mAh" and "Eneloop Pro" are great options. 

This console is made with a refurbished original GBA motherboard. The entire board has been cleaned thoroughly. The power switch has been replaced to ensure it works for a long time to come. The capacitors have been replaced for louder/clearer audio and longevity. All functions of the console are tested and working well. 

The screen may encounter flickering/ghosting directly after changing game cartridges. Leaving the console on for ~1 minute will fix the issue.
