About Our Green Sansho Peppercorn

The Sansho green is the aromatic shrub/ plant /small tree 3 meters height belong to the Rutaceae family (citrus and rue) and used as staple ingredient in Japanese and Korean cuisines.

Also known as Japanese pepper, Korean pepper, sanshō (山椒), and chopi (초피). 

(Do not confused it with the Szechuan / Sichuan pepper Or with the Korean chili pepper)

Color: Sansho Peppercorn tends to oxidize quality and therefore color may vary from bright to dark green.

NOTE: If you are searching for bright green Sansho, this product may not be suitable for you.
