What's Included?
- 50 red hexes (enemy)
- 20 black hexes (self)
- 20 light blue hexes (ally)
By purchasing a quantity of 1 at checkout, you will receive all of the above hexes! If you only use hexes to help out with your larger AoE skills (I consider a pattern including 4+ red hexes to be a "large aoe") one pack should be enough to supply an entire table of 4 in most cases. For the completionists, one pack can also build the entire tuckbox worth of fully enhanced Banner Spear AoE skill patterns.
These hexes are fully modular and can be adapted to fit any character class you choose to play during your Haven career. No magnets, no gluing, no shards of the lurker crown. Simply follow the pattern on your skill card and choose the colored hexes to match.
Align the dovetail keys from above and slide the hexes together until they are flat. Once aligned, the templates are durable and sturdy. They won't separate unless they are thoroughly convinced. I often fidget and twirl my larger templates during play sessions and have yet to break any (so far).
The hexes are scaled to match the hexes on the game board. This allows you to hold the template you created over the game board to see what you might be able to target.
As you retire your current class and continue throughout your campaigns, simply break apart the hexes and form them into any new templates. Enchanting an area attack with a new hex? Simply click on another red hex!
I designed these quantities with the Banner Spear in mind. The Banner Spear is the only class that makes use of the Blue hexes for ally placement in the patterns. If your group doesn't have a Banner Spear, you can use the blue hexes in place of either black or red depending on what you need more of. One pack of hexes can create a template for every single fully upgraded AoE skill in the Banner Spear tuckbox and still have some leftover!
The tolerance of the dovetail keys is pretty tight to keep the templates sturdy during play. If you are having trouble getting one of the hexes to fit in your pattern, try rotating it to align a different keyslot.
Thanks for looking! Happy gaming!
