Here are two super-cuties from the '50s or early '60s, often attributed to California Creations. These are only tagged with "Japan." They're clearly hand painted, each wearing a darling bow and ruffle-edged bonnet. The only flaw at all I could find is an under-glaze darker area on the back of the blue-bowed cat. Please note that they're not salt & pepper shakers, simply charming little friends to keep or gift! Size of each is about 2 3/4" high x 1 3/4" wide.
