This uncirculated 500 Philippine piso note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1998. It is a yellow, black, and orange note that bear the signatures of Maria Corazon Sumulong Aquino and Jose Bartolome Fernandez, and measures 160 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features a dove with an olive branch, the Philippine flag, and Benigno Simeon “Ninoy” Aquino. Its reverse side shows the Tarlac Capitol building, the Concepcion Municipal building, a teacher and student, soldiers and civilians, and Aquino as The Manila Times correspondent during the Korean War. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Benigno Aquino Jr. The note was demonetized in 2017.
