STUNNING EARLY ROYAL DOULTON SUNG FLAMBE VASE

This is a superb, quite rare, early Royal Doulton Flambe Rouge twin handled vase made at Charles Noke's Burslem studio by himself that dates from, I would guess, the very early of the 20th. Century (I would guess, 1900- 1910). Noke together with Bernard Moore and a little later Fred Moore developed the Flambe range. In an ovoid twin handled form with a wide neck over a small splayed foot it is depicted with a high fired (?) abstract amorphic yellow / cobalt / cyan glaze over the red flambe body. The base is stamped with the above mentioned Royal Doulton Burslem Flambe marks and Noke's hand painted monogram - see photographs and details.

    It measures 6 1/2" (16.5cm) H x 3 3/4" (10cm) W approx; and is in excellent condition with no defect at all to report - see photographs and details.

    This is a wonderful, rare piece of period Royal Doulton Flambe Rouge by one of the greats of this type of experimental glaze work which is in lovely condition and with a realistic, yet still low start price should get considerable interest from all Doulton collectors.

SHIPPING
P&P costs will be confirmed via invoice on purchase.

All items will be forwarded (nationally) special delivery post only and (internationally) insured express (tracked & signed for) post.
All consignments exceeding 2kg will be shipped via courier (usually ups), with  a four day minimum dispatch time national & international, and five days for items via courier, but in reality I usually ship within two working days after cleared payment.
The shipping cost includes a small packaging and handling charge and therefore does not reflect postage alone.
RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days with the return shipping cost at the buyer's expense.
Almost everything I sell is in the condition I have bought it, unless otherwise stated, (I have learnt to my cost in the past not to tamper with an item), and therefore I have neither had items repaired nor restored. I will endeavour to report on an item which has had either; however I take no responsibility if an item has been tampered with and I cannot detect it.
OVERSEAS BUYERS

As different countries have different import laws and regulations it is incumbent upon the buyer to know what these are in relation to what they are bidding on. Almost all items I sell are antique unless otherwise stated and therefore well within the import requirements of this country, but maybe a grey area elsewhere, so please take note no responsibility will be taken if a problem with customs occurs.

Items listed in an auction format are just that and not subject to 'buy-it-now' enquiries however I am willing to listen to any offer which are substantially over the start price. Please don't waste your time asking for a b.i.n. on an auction item as you may be offended by no reply.
PAYMENT
Payment must be made within 3 days from the end of the sale / or a buy-it-now sale failure to do so will mean the item will be offered to the under bidder and a report to eBay.
I can accept payment via PayPal, cheques drawn on UK banks or UK postal orders - I can accept other forms of payment please contact me to find out which. I will dispatch goods on clearance of any of the above.
