A striking example of post-war Italian lighting, this 4-light pendant is attributable to Arteluce and dates to the late 1950s–early 1960s. Its sturdy central canopy and suspension rod are forged in solid brass, now mellowed to a warm honeyed patina, while a large 50 cm-diameter aluminum reflector disc in soft pastel diffuses light across the room. Beneath this, four downward-pointing aluminum cones—each finished in a complementary hue—house individual bulbs, their tapered forms echoing the era’s fascination with sculptural geometry.
Measuring 50 cm in diameter and standing 90 cm tall from ceiling plate to cone tip, this fixture blends functional illumination with elegant mid-century design. The unrestored surfaces bear the original factory finish and gentle traces of oxidation, underscoring its authentic vintage character. Ideal for dining rooms, entryways, or living spaces, it brings an unmistakable sense of Italian Modernist flair to any interior.
