This listing is for one, Pokemon Machamp 31/130 Rare Card from the 2007 Diamond & Pearl set.

By my grading scale, which only accounts for post factory flaws, so not centering, holo bleed or print lines, I believe the card to be in NM condition. By ebays i think its a also lightly played, maybe moderately if they truly do weigh light scratches as they say they do. I don't. It has no bends, dents, creases or peels. Just light scratches and light edgewear.

Ebay's grading scale is shown below. The only difference between ours and theirs is we do not bump a card down all the way to moderately played if its only flaw is light scratches. A card like that, we consider it NM. If you add a light scratch to a PSA 10 card for example, its a 9, not a 6. But thats what ebay is describing according to their new scale.

To be safe and to protect myself from overly picky buyers, I round down. There’s never a guarantee on what any card will grade regardless of actual condition, which is why some people will send their 9’s back until they get 10’s.

Moderately Played (MP) = Minor to heavy signs of handling such as edge wear, minor dings or scuffs. Flaws may include moderate creasing, moderate to heavy edge clipping, rounding or soft corners and moderate discoloration.

Heavily Played (HP) = Dings, dents, scratches, edge wear, creases. Is extremely worn and displays flaws all over. Flaws may include major creasing, moderate discoloration, major body wear, heavily worn and rounded edges.
