High demand White/ light  pearlized buttons.

This listing is for A lot of buttons taken from the button mix shown in photos.

A lot will contain approximately 100 - 175 buttons

The weight of a  lot is 3 ounces

I WEIGH the scoop of buttons taken from the mix, taring the weight of the scoop before weighing buttons on the scale.

I count the lot to make sure the button count is at least 100 buttons- It depends on the sizes of the buttons- and continue to add buttons until weight reaches 3 ounces.

This fills up a  4"×5" bag.

The buttons in this listing were sorted by color and material.

THE COLOR:

The colors making up the mix are primarily pearlized white,  Ivory, iridescent off-white, cream-colored, and yellow tinted. Some lighting  plays tricks on the colors  and there could be hues of  light grey, brown  blue, etc.

You might receive buttons with a tint-ish looking yellow, orange, blue, pink, etc.

THE MATERIAL is primarily thermoset, thermoplastic buttons, including lucite ( acrylic), celluloid, casein, and resin (there's a slim chance of bakelite because white bakelite turns yellow overtime-it would have been picked out of this mix).

It's possible to receive buttons made of abalone shell, mother of pearl, glass, porcelain/ ceramic, or a mix of metal and plastic.

THE SIZE of each button will vary.

There are some up to  1.75". There are buttons  as small as 0.25".

See close ups of the various buttons. The smaller sizes are also quality vintage buttons. That's what makes the monetary value more than contemporary, newer buttons. There are also lightweight iridescent shirt buttons. This mix should have a decent variety of different -looking and feeling buttons.

These are previously owned, vintage sewing buttons. I de-threaded each button, but I could have missed some threads. I also soaked most buttons in a warm water/ oxyclean solution. Others I wiped down, depending on the material and age.
