This book holds some of the world's most famous love sonnets. It is in great condition for it's age which we are estimating in the 1890's/early 1900's. The Book was originally published in 1850. The book has a Roman Numeral of MDCCCCXXII, which translates to 1822. The Book binder was George Bayntun who worked out of Bath United Kingdom starting in 1894. We have deduced the dates based on the original publication and the dates the book binder was in service. The cover is solid with some slight tearing around the top and bottom of the spine, some wear to the leather and some very light fading of some of the gold gilt. The pages inside are crisp, there is some faint water damage to most of the pages. The book is free from writing. Please see all photos as it will come as pictured. It measures 7 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 5/8".
