Inspired by the art of Vietnamese calligraphy, Mr. Dong opened a calligraphy class in Hoi An so that students could understand the meaning of each word and phrase so that the strokes and soul could find harmony. Moreover, calligraphy helps visitors have moments of peace after stressful working hours. Mr. Dong's calligraphy class has been attracting young, foreign visitors to Hoi An for quite some time now and is a staple within the old city's community.

This pair of watercolor paintings are in very good condition with the wooden frames showing some ware/roughness along their edges which can be seen in my posted photos.
