117th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade
The creation of the 117th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade began in November 2022 and ended on January 31, 2023.
Since August 2024, the brigade has been participating in combat operations in the Pokrovsky direction.
During the combat operations, it inflicted significant losses on the enemy. About a hundred fighters of the brigade have been awarded state awards.
The brigade's motto is "With Fire and Sword".
