The cordless Tigersaw hooks up to a top-end Porter-Cable 20V lithium-ion battery as part of its 20V Max linked-system tool line. The variable-speed Porter-Cable Tigersaw has a high-performance drivetrain that lets it cut at up to 3,000 strokes per minute, but also provides proper stroke control for sawing different material safely and efficiently. A blade stroke of 1 full inch lets the Tigersaw power through thick material and wide joints. The reciprocating Tigersaw is compact at 14.5 inches in length and is lightweight at 4.4 pounds. A D-ring handle and overmold grips add to the saw's ergonomic design. Changing the blade on the reciprocating cordless saw is quick and easy with its tool-free, twist-lock accessible clamp, and the pivoting shoe keeps the blade flush with cutting surfaces. “Bare Tools” are sold without batteries or chargers, making them ideal for users who already own compatible power sources.
