Vintage Japanese small wooden kokeshi doll with traditional floral pattern signed made by artisan Tadashi Satou circa 2000s
Author's name is written on the bottom.
"KOKESHI" is a traditional Japanese craft that has been around since the Edo period, over 200 years ago.
It is a wooden doll carefully made by craftsmen one by one!
From wood carving to painting, the craftsmen make them by hand.
This product has long been loved and used in formal Japanese homes.
