The clutch is one of the most used and abused components on any manual shift vehicle. Defective clutch symptoms include slippage, chatter, vibration, binding and drag, as well as noise. If engine rpms increase without an increase in vehicle speed, the clutch is slipping, which can be caused by worn parts or oil contamination. If the clutch chatters when it’s engaged, with shaking and shuddering, the disc and pressure plate could be glazed. If the clutch drags and does not fully release, which can be caused by a warped disc and/or pressure plate, it can cause shifting problems and gear clash. If these conditions describe your clutch, you need a RhinoPac Clutch Kit.
