[Thomas the Tank Engine]

A locomotive character that is very popular with adults and children alike.


The story that became the basis for "Thomas the Tank Engine" was written in 1943 by British pastor Wilbert Awdry for his sick son Christopher.


"The Railway Series" published in 1945 became his masterpiece, and in Japan, the "Railway Picture Book" series was published by Poplar Publishing in 1973.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the publication of the original work, this collaboration features an original design by niko and ... with a vintage feel, using art from "The Railway Series."
