This listing is for a beautiful handmade Studio Art Pottery Stoneware Cruet with Spout and Stopper.  This is a high quality item with a polished bottom and beautiful lines.  The cruet is carved with an abstract sgraffito design on both sides that is inlaid with possibly an iron wash for a rust colored pattern.  The overall glaze is a matte cream to rust that beautifully shows the speckles in the stoneware clay.  There is a yellow band of color on the bottom with a black outline and a splash of blue glossy glaze on the shoulder by the handle.

I believe the pot is signed Gratt 07.  I'm unable to find other information about the artist, but this is clearly a well-trained experienced potter with a highly developed esthetic.

The cruet is a beautiful decorative piece or it can be used for oil or vinegar or many other liquids in the home.  The cruet weighs 1lb 6.5oz and is 7.25" tall.  It holds 18 ounces of liquid.  There are no chips or other defects.
