The Made in Japan Traditional series is derived from the fusion of Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetics and refined Japanese craftsmanship. The authentic DNA of Fender is revived with solid Made in Japan quality.
The Made in Japan Traditional Late '60s Jazzmaster features a gloss-finish basswood body with vintage-style 21st frets and a 9.5” radius U-shaped maple neck. The 9.5” radius U-shaped maple neck provides the classic playing characteristics of the Traditional series. A six-saddle vintage-style bridge with a floating tremolo tailpiece and the original pickups selected for the Traditional Series produce a realistic and musical vintage tone. The narrow nut width is designed to be easy to play for Japanese players. This product is a reissue of the product used from the late 60's with binding on the neck and block position inlays. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible answers to players' needs are reflected in this series.
