ETCR2100A+ Digital Clamp On Ground Earth Resistance Tester Meter 0.01-200Ω

Description:

ETCR Clamp Earth Resistance Tester is widely applied in ground resistance measurement, loop resistance measurement in fields such as electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil field, architecture and industrial electrical equipment, etc. When measuring ground system with loop, there is no need to disconnect the ground wire without auxiliary electrode, which means safer and faster.

Feature:

1. Practical products with more reliable quality.

2. A major breakthrough in grounding resistance testing technology, non-contact measurement is safe and fast.

3. When measuring the grounding system with loop, it is not necessary to disconnect the grounding down conductor, no auxiliary electrode is needed, saving time and effort.

4. Clamp-type grounding resistance meter can measure ground faults that cannot be measured by traditional methods, and can be applied to applications where traditional methods cannot be measured.

5. Sound and light alarm function, data storage function, data retention function.

How to use:

1. Power on

Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine. Firstly, the LCD monitor is automatically tested. The symbols are all displayed. At the same time, the meter is automatically calibrated. After the boot is completed, “OLΩ” is displayed, and the resistance measurement mode is automatically entered. If there is no normal self-calibration, the meter will The “Er” symbol is displayed, indicating a power-on error. If you turn on the power, you need to check the cause and then turn it back on. If “OLΩ” does not appear after the power-on self-test, a larger resistance value is displayed. However, when using the test loop, the correct result can still be given. This means that the clamp meter only has a large error when measuring the large resistance value (for example, greater than 100 ohms), but still maintains the original accuracy when measuring the small resistance value. Users can still use it with confidence.

2. Power off

After the meter is turned on, press the ON/OFF button to turn it off.

After the meter is turned on for 5 minutes, the LCD screen will flash, and the flashing state will automatically turn off after 30 seconds to reduce battery consumption. Pressing the ON/OFF button while flashing can delay the shutdown and the clamp continues to work.

In the HOLD state, you need to press the HOLD button to exit the HOLD state, then press the ON/OFF button to turn it off.

In the alarm threshold setting state, you need to press the ON/OFF button or the AL button for 3 seconds to exit the setting alarm threshold state, and then press the ON/OFF button to shut down.

3. Resistance measurement

After the power-on self-test is completed, “OLΩ” is displayed, and the resistance measurement can be performed. At this time, the trigger is pulled, the jaw is opened, the circuit to be tested is clamped, and the resistance value is read.

The user thinks it is necessary to test it with a random test loop. The displayed value should match the nominal value on the test loop (5.1 Ω). The nominal value on the test loop is the value at a temperature of 20 °C. It is normal for the displayed value to differ by one word from the nominal value. For example, when the nominal value of the test ring is 5.1Ω, it is normal to display 5.0Ω or 5.2Ω.

“OLΩ” is displayed, indicating that the measured resistance is beyond the upper range of the clamp.

“L0.01Ω” is displayed, indicating that the measured resistance is outside the lower range of the clamp.

The symbol is flashing and there is an intermittent “beep--beep--beep--” sound, indicating that the measured resistance exceeds the resistance alarm threshold.

In the HOLD state, you need to press the HOLD button to exit the HOLD state before you can continue measuring.

In the MR state, you must first press the MEM button to exit the MR state before continuing measurement.

In the alarm threshold setting state, you need to press the ON/OFF button or press the AL button for 3 seconds to exit the setting alarm threshold state before continuing measurement.

Attention:

When starting up, you can't press the trigger, you can't open the jaws, you can't clamp any wires.

After the boot is completed, “OLΩ” is displayed before the trigger can be pressed.

Before starting the machine, press the trigger once or twice to ensure that the jaws are closed well.

When starting the machine, keep the natural static state of the clamp, can not flip the clamp, can not apply external force to the jaw, otherwise the accuracy of the measurement cannot be guaranteed.
