Jewelry Box Silver Plated Derby Silver Plate Co
American silver-plated jewelry box, marked 6160, made by the Derby Silver Plate Co. of Derby, CT (founded in 1872). It has rectangular form body with hinged lid and closure (the key is missing), the lid is accented with scroll rims. Interior is lined and features some imperfections.
This wonderful box is 8" long, 5 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
The good original condition featuring wear marks, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

Should it occur in spite of our careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. We will be happy to assist in this. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent may request to examine it. That being said, in over 10 years of internet shipping, we have had only one damage claim. Shipping is usually done within 24 hours of the receipt of a cleared payment.
