This is the first 16mm home movie projector introduced in 1924 by Eastman Kodak for use with their new 16mm film format.
The Kodascope model C was manufactured by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York and patented in September, 1924. It used a Westinghouse running motor.
It has the original black bodied Kodak glass projection lens and the original wire cage ventilated housing for the lamp.
This is a massively built, yet compact piece and is in excellent original condition.
It is the first one of these we have found and a rare example of an archaic and very collectible Kodak piece.
This special antique is sold for display purposes but is complete, unmolested and all original. I sell electronic items only with the display as the intended use. The electronic elements are not guaranteed to be in working order.
