John Derian x Astier de Villatte small plate. I would describe this as a tidbit plate, perhaps for an amuse bouche. Astier de Villatte's ceramic pieces are handmade in Paris of black terracotta clay with their signature glossy white enamel glaze. They are intended to look rustic, each piece is unique. Some look more rustic than others, showing 2 examples here. Measures 5 1/4 inches in length and 4 5/8 inches in width. Very light weighing less than 3 oz per plate.  Vintage and has never been used. I believe this is from the Regence pattern. Some have the original tag, some a partial tag and some with no tag. Price is per plate. The matching large platters have sold. (A)
