The commemorative coin “Archangel Michael” is

 dedicated to one of the leading archangels, known

 as Archangel Michael, which in Greek means “chief

 commander”. Among the believers is one of the most

 famous biblical characters, who is part of the

 “heavenly army of angels” and is the patron saint of

 citizens who fight for a righteous cause. The most

 important position before the Archangel Michael has

 been preserved from the times of Kievan Rus to the

 present day. It became a symbol of the heavenly

 protection of the Kiev princes, and later it was

 enshrined in toponymy - in the names of church

 disputes, as well as in heraldry - on the coats of

 arms of Kiev, the Kiev Voivodeship and Kiev

 provinces. Today, the image of Archangel Michael is

 present in the attributes of the Ukrainian armies and

 again symbolizes the fight against evil.

On the obverse of the coin there is placed: the small

 Sovereign Coat of Arms of Ukraine, under which is

 written – UKRAINE; According to the stake on the

 aphids, the pattern with MM-14 (“Little masculine

 flower of 2014 rock”, also known under the unofficial

 names “Pixel” and “Ukrainian Pixel”) depicts a

 stylized laurel wreath, which symbolizes glory and I

 will overcome; At the bottom is the denomination 10

 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia. At the center

 of the eight-cut cartouche on the mirror plate there

 is a logo with the inscription: NATIONAL / BANK OF

 UKRAINE / 2024.

On the reverse of the coin, the Archangel Michael is

 depicted on a mirror background; right-handed and

 left-handed, sculpted stylized silhouettes of warriors

 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, guintocril and anti-

tank hedgehogs, which compositionally reinforce the

 struggle being waged for independence; on the stake

 there is an inscription: ...FOR US І THE SOULS OF

 THE RIGHTEOUS, І THE POWER OF THE
