The first-generation dozen box was made using the cutting-edge material of the time, plastic. It features hand-installed aluminum hinges, and inside the dozen box, there is a lead grinder for sharpening the pencil lead.

After the second generation, an eraser was included instead of the lead grinder, but the first-generation Uni contains the lead grinder. I have never used it, so I'm not sure how it works. It is made of plastic, and when you turn the black lid, grooves appear as shown in the photo.
It is referred to as a lead pointer or lead sharpener, but since it requires manual grinding, I referred to it as a lead grinder. I'm not sure if the meaning was properly conveyed, as my English might be lacking. Please check through the photos.
Because these are vintage pencils, there are defects such as cracked paint, discoloration, stains, dust, and peeling off imprints.
