The plywood shell has dried out over the years, producing a light, dry, acoustic sound that no modern high-end shell can produce.
The sound is reinforced, so the contours of the sound are well-maintained.
A built-in mute is also included.
The snare has been replaced with a new one.
The blue stripe covering is also very stylish, giving it a sense of the era.

The shell and hoop are in relatively good condition, but there is some rust and scratches here and there.
A few tuning bolts are warped.
One of the screws that holds the Pearl logo badge is missing, so it is hanging from the shell.
