  • Bennett trim planes consist of a pair of stainless steel afterplanes secured to the stern of motor boats, both hard chine and round bilge
  • A unique, single-lever control on the instrument panel allows you to control the trim planes together or individually from the pilots seat
  • The hydraulic action is gentle, making it easy to adjust a boats trim precisely and safely
  • Increases speed, provides excellent visibility, reduces pounding, and reduces fuel consumption
  • Maximum efficiency is obtained by using the longest span tabs possible
  • Measure the hull from the centerline to the chine, or turn of the bilge, and select the longest span tabs that can be used (allowing 3-4 in. leeway)
  • When bottom is convex, concave or has lifting strake use transom-mount style
  • Outdrive and outboard boats require a minimum of 8" clearance from the centerline of the lower unit to the tabs

  • 12 in. chord is recommended for boats where the configuration of the bottom limits the Tab span (total of both tabs), to less than 2 in. per foot of boat length
  • The12" chord should always be used on heavy boats that have a slow cruise or boats over 50 feet in length.
