Compact Digital Camera Adapter for Connecting the Camera to 1.25" or Smaller Telescope Eyepieces

This listing is for a selection of one metal adapter to connect a compact digital camera to telescope's eyepiece barrel that has 1.25" (31.7mm) diameter. The adapter has outer threads that can fit a digital camera with 28mm, 43mm, 52mm and 55mm filter thread on the camera lens.

The adapter can clamp onto a telescope eyepiece barrel with external diameter less than 35mm (eg. 1.25" eyepieces) using the three screws. These screws are also used to adjust the optimum position of your camera in relation to the telescope eyepiece. You can then start to take pictures through the telescope.

Please note that the internal diameter of the adapter barrel is 35mm which is slightly bigger than 1.25" so that it can go over the eyepiece tube and clamp on the eyepiece with the three screws provided. You may need to remove the rubber eye-cup of the eyepiece if it prevents the adapter tube from going through the eyepiece barrel. This adapter works together with a 1.25" or smaller eyepiece by holding your camera over the eyepiece. Please check the eyepiece dimension to make sure its top diameter is less than 35mm (after the removal of the rubber eyecup).

However, if you want to insert the adapter tube into a 1.25" eyepiece holder of your telescope after the eyepiece is removed, you would need a different type of adapter. Please contact our technical support team for further information or assistance.

Please select one of the listed adapters according to the diameter of the filter threads on your camera lens. The photos show some examples of the adapters. The adapter shape may vary depending on the size.

Note: The filter thread diameter of camera lens can be different from the camera lens diameter as marked on the lens. So please measure the thread diameter on the front of your camera lens and choose a correct adapter ring.
