See photos for details on cosmetic condition.
Battery (for parts) and charging cable (working) included. HDD not included.
Battery appears to be non-functioning. Charging cable functions. Computer successfully draws power via the cable. A bit of the outer charging cable housing is frayed and has been taped with electrical type. Inner cables appear intact.
Before I removed the HDD, the front LED light turned a solid white and fans spin loudly. There is no system chime.
After removing HDD, computer still powers on with fan activity and heat, but without system chime and without LED light.
Previously, I was able to achieve a system chime and successful display after a GPU reflow. This was only fleeting.
To attempt a boot on AC power, hold power button for 10 secs while unplugged, plug it in while still holding power, continue to hold for another 10 sec and release. Computer will power on. This is normal operation and will be fixed with a working battery.
