The fourth studio album by Lily Allen is the successor to the famous "Sheezus" from 2014, which reached the top of British charts and was awarded the status of a gold album in the UK. "No Shame" took a long time to write, because a lot happened in the private life of the Englishwoman. The breakup of the marriage took a heavy toll on Lily. The artist had to rebuild herself mentally and decide in which direction her music should go.
The result is 14 songs in which Lily is not afraid to touch on very intimate topics, such as the breakdown of marriage, relationships with children, addiction to various substances. Allen started writing songs in 2015, and finished work in early 2018. The artist invited several producers to cooperate, including Fryars, Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend) and the famous Mark Ronson (Lady Gaga, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Action Bronson). Giggs, Burna Boy and Lady Channels appear in the songs.
The melancholic pop and painfully honest album "No Shame" was promoted by the songs "Trigger Bang" and "Higher" and "Three".
