for the peeps who want details:
I bought these boots for a week long trip to Tahoe where we were expecting (and got) significant snow fall (11/6/22 - 11/13/22). we played in the snow every day. the first couple of days was the heaviest with constant snow fall while we were sledding and having snowball fights. you can see in the 2 pictures, I went from in the snow to under the snow. For the whole trip, my feet never felt cold (wore normal socks) nor did they ever get wet. in the submerged pic, my snow pants definitely protected from snow going over the top of the boot, but the rest of my feet under the snow had only the boots and they did their job well! when we got back to our room, loose snow came right off at the door and the boots never felt wet or soaked. my wife and son had a different style boot and they constantly tracked water into our room... I did not! These boot work very well in the snow! Didn't get to do any hiking on this trip so no info there (sorry) and it's only been one trip, so we'll have to see how they hold up over time. Ignore the haters and trolls who 1 star everything. These boots are great! (hope this helps)

I am a farmer. I have worn these shoes for 3 months and they are very durible. I don't forsee these shoes wearing out for a long time. There are no holes or wear on the woven areas. I can spray the dirt off the shoe each day and they remain waterproof. I have stepped in light puddles without getting my feet wet. I do not desire to try a big puddle. Any dirt or mud I get on them daily, I just hose off and they look new. They hose off very easily, even the bottoms. Even when they were brand new, the inner sole was comfortable. The outer sole is durible. These felt better than any other brand I tried, in name-brand stores. I will definitely buy again when needed. Well worth the money. The shoes are versatile and I wear with shorts or pants.

I bought these as an all around boot. My Five Tens needed to be replaced, and I also needed a good waterproof field boot for work. These are great. The treads are perfect for sticking to flats. Waterproof but surprisingly comfortable at work. Perfect all around. I really hope they last more than a year. Worth noting, I did need to go up 1/2 a size
