The Malaussène Saga is a novel cycle by Daniel Pennac featuring professional scapegoat Benjamin Malaussène and many characters from his entourage in the Parisian neighborhood of Belleville.
Daniel Pennac retains from his childhood a nostalgia for the home and a tenderness for the family of choice. While his writings are funny and full of unbridled imagination, Pennac can also write Like a Novel, an essay on active, lucid, and enthusiastic pedagogy, in which he presents what he calls "The Reader’s Imprescriptible Rights."

















Daniel Pennacchioni, says Daniel Pennac, nor the to Casablanca au Morocco, is a french writer. In particular, he received the prix Renaudot in 2007 for his autobiographical novel School Grief.
He has also written screenplays for film, television, and comics.
Daniel Pennacchioni is the fourth and final boy in a family of Corsican and Provencal origin. His father is a polytechnician became a colonial army officer, having reached the rank of general at the end of his career and his mother, a housewife, is a self-taught reader. He spent his childhood in his father's garrisons, in Africa (Djibouti, Ethiopia, Algeria, Equatorial Africa), in Southeast Asia (Indochina) and in France (notably in La Colle-sur-Loup).
Monsieur Malaussène is a novel policier from Daniel Pennac, appeared in 1995. This is the fourth volume of the Malaussène Saga.
This time Benjamin Malaussène is expecting a child: Julie is pregnant! While Inspector Van Thian has just died, his daughter Gervaise, a nun who cares for prostitutes and inspector, finally appears.
Other characters appear as Cissou la neige (lockmith and friend of Gervaise), Clément Clément nicknamed Seed of the bailiff, Suzanne les eyes bleus, who runs a cinema on the verge of demolition: the Zebra, Matthias Fraenkhel Julie's gynecologist, her father Job and mother Liesl, Barnabooth artist escamator childhood friend of Julie (and son of Matthias Fraenkel), Postel-Wagner, a forensic pathologist, Titus and Silistri (inspectors friends of Gervaise), the son-in-law of divisional Coudrier: divisional Legendre.
In this volume, the story is divided between the Belleville neighborhood and Julie's native Vercors.
Jeremy the younger brother, meanwhile, is interested in theatre and novels, driven by Queen Zabo who wants to make him a great writer. It also recounts Benjamin's detention. Indeed, he is accused of 21 murders, all since the beginning of the saga!
