For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Lawrence Welk and His Orchestra titled "Out Of A Clear Blue Sky b/w Theme From My Three Sons", originally released in 1961 by Dot Records.  I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track is etched an upper case "I", followed by the matrix numbers A-3/A-1, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at RCA's pressing plant, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded between Very Good Plus (Side Two) and Excellent (Side One), because of sleeve marks and scuffs on Side Two. I'm play grading this single between Very Good Plus and Near Mint Minus, for a composite grading of Excellent, because of occasional low levels of surface noise, none of which over-powers the music.This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping.
