This part repairs a very common problem for jeep owners. The shifting lever for the 4x4 feels disconnected. You're stuck in 4 wheel drive or can't shift back to 2 wheel drive. It's a simple fix, but a pain if you you don't have the part. This is caused by the OEM bushing rotting out and breaking apart. This kicks the problem. Carry a couple in the console or glove box for when you're on the trail or off road as well.
