HLK-LD2420 is a high-performance 24 GHz one transmitter, one receiver radar module from Hailingke. Its human body sensing algorithm adopts millimeter wave radar distance measurement technology and advanced proprietary signal processing technology of the S3 series chip, achieving precise perception of motion, micro motion, and standing human bodies. HLK-LD2420 is mainly used to perceive whether there is movement or micro movement of the human body in the indoor scene perception area, and to refresh the detection results in real-time. It has a maximum sensing distance of 8m for the moving human body, and can easily configure the sensing distance range, sensing sensitivity and refresh time for different intervals. Matters needing attention
If a radar needs to be equipped with a casing, the casing must have good wave transmission characteristics in the 24GHz frequency band and must not contain metals or materials that have a shielding effect on electromagnetic waves;

2.1 There are continuously moving non-human objects in the sensing area, such as animals, continuously swinging curtains, and large green plants facing the air vent.
2.2 There is a large area of strong reflection plane in the sensing area, and the strong reflection object directly facing the radar antenna can cause interference.
2.3 When installing on the wall, it is necessary to consider external Confounding such as air conditioners and electric fans on the top of the room.
3. Precautions during installation
3.1 Try to ensure that the radar antenna is directly facing the area to be detected, and that the surrounding area of the antenna is open and unobstructed.
3.2 To ensure that the installation position of the sensor is firm and stable, the shaking of the radar itself will affect the detection effect.
3.3 Ensure that there is no object movement or vibration on the back of the radar. Due to the penetrability of radar waves, the antenna back lobe may detect moving objects on the back of the radar. Metal shielding covers or metal backplates can be used to shield the radar back lobe and reduce the impact of objects on the back of the radar.
When there are multiple 24GHz frequency band radars, please do not align the beams and try to install them as far away as possible to avoid possible mutual interference.
4.Power precautions: The input voltage of the power supply is 3.0V~3.6V, and there is no obvious spectral peak within 100 kHz of the power supply ripple. This plan is for reference
