Pierrot is a stock character of pantomime and commedia dell"arte, whose origins are in the late seventeenth-century Italian troupe of players performing in Paris and known as the Comédie-ItaliennePierrot

Mounted on white marble base - Heavy!

It is signed on the bottom, but I cannot read the signature.

In “as is “condition considering its age!

6 inches inches tall by 5 inches

The legs, the face, the arms, the base the coat, the jacket are in excellent condition, but the hands are “as seen” in my photo.

The right armrest as you look at the picture has a line which looks part of the marble. It is not a crack nor a repair. There is a small surface erosion on the edge. It is been worn away as seen in my picture.

The figure does swivel to the left into the right, depending on how you want to look at it

If I was keeping this, I would re-create hands with a type of plastic or you could remove the left arm or hand and keep the right one.

It’s still a really neat unusual piece!
