It contains multiple trays for small as well as big size gemstones. These trays are all surrounded with a security rim so that stones would not fall out while working. 

It also has multiple piecing grooves through out the body of the pin. 

At one end of the pin, there's a lower platform for filing works while the other end has a ring sizing assist with a rounded seat for the inside ring to lean on and a middle saw guide groove. 

This bench pin was designed as a base for other expansions such as a polishing face shield ( in separate post) and extra bur holder mount on both sides of the stone tray area. 

There are also slot mounts for the vacuum attachment that connects to the dust filter system.
