What does the advert consist of? ...
The price only covers the installation of Mac OS MONTEREY via Open Core, and does not include the SSD.
The total amount of the add covers the Mac OS MONTEREY installation service via Open Core (on your own SSD) and return delivery.
The
installation will take place on a 2.5” SSD you already own (brand and
capacity of your choice), which you must send to us in advance, at your
own expense, using your country traditional National Postal Service (
equivalent for Colissimo la Poste service in France )
(For logistical and security reasons, we do not accept delivery of SSD disks by any other means or shipping company).

Which hard drives are compatible?
The brand and capacity of the SSD hard drive is up to you, as long as it's in 2.5” SATA format, in good condition and working properly. Installation on traditional HDDs should not be considered, as they would be too slow to support a system such as Open Core.
How to send us your SSD for installation?
The SSD must be sent to us immediately after placing the order, via your country traditional National Postal Service. The postal address to be used for shipment will be communicated to you upon receipt of your order.
How long will it take?
Once we've received your SSD, the whole installation process can take between 4 and 5 days (excluding weekends), depending on our current workload.

How will the SSD be returned to me after installation?
For international Order we offer the following shipping service as default:
Tracked letter international service = economic, no transport compensation insurance included.

How do I use the newly installed SSD once I've received it?
It will be 'configured' so that you can install it in your machine and start immediately.
Will it replace the Mac's current internal hard drive?
Yes, you'll be able to mount it inside the machine, replacing the current drive, but you can still boot the SSD by using an external USB adapter (not supplied) and booting by pressing the option (alt) key.
What language will the new Mac OS come in?
By default, the system will be delivered in French (for France) or English (for the rest of the world). However, as with all standard Mac OS systems, it will always be possible to change the language of the Mac OS delivered (e.g. German, Italian, Spanish, etc.).

None, really! Obviously, you'll need to be able to open your Mac machine to replace the existing internal hard drive, or use your Mac Os MONTEREY SSD externally with a USB adapter.
Can I recover the current data on my disk and transfer it to the SSD with MONTEREY?
The SSD you send us must be completely empty or freshly erased, for a complete zero installation, equivalent to that found on a newly purchased Apple machine.
Before sending us your SSD, you'll need to copy and back up your current data onto another disk, and then you have to transfer it to the SSD prepared with the new MONTEREY Mac OS, as soon as you receive it.
The migration procedure is therefore the same as when you purchase a new Apple machine, and can be carried out either manually or using the “Migration Assistant” application included with all standard MAC OS.
Is it worth doing?
The patched OPEN CORE version of Mac OS MONTEREY offers the advantage of running a newer Mac OS system on older, otherwise obsolete Mac models, and benefiting from the speed of a new SSD drive, instead of an old HDD.
