Description:

Frostgrave: Perilous Dark (2019; softcover; 96 pages)

There are many tales of the Frozen City, and not all of them tell of battles between rival wizards. Often, the greatest adventures are those that pit a wizard and his trusty warband against the myriad perils found amidst the ruins of Felstad.

This new supplement for Frostgrave presents rules for playing solo and cooperative games in which the focus shifts from the feuds of wizards to exploring the city, unlocking its mysteries… and surviving what is discovered. With guidelines for scaling game difficulty, dungeon crawls, monster generation, and more, as well as ten scenarios demonstrating these options, this volume offers players everything they need to venture alone - or with allies - into Frostgrave.

Why should wizards fight amongst themselves? There is plenty of treasure for all and the Frozen City is enemy enough!

Grading Clarification*

Book grading (especially for roleplaying books) can be very subjective. Below are the criteria I use to assign books to the eBay categories. I try to take photos that show the true condition of the book, but please contact me if you have any question or want more information.

New: Looks as if just purchased from a bookstore. Unread. Binding is tight and no marks on cover or interior pages. No price stickers. No evidence of shelf wear or discoloration from age.

Like New: Book has been read and there may be some very slight evidence of shelf wear, but no obvious mars on cover. Binding is still rather tight and there are no marks or signs of discoloration on spine or interior pages. No price sticker.

Very Good: Some obvious signs of shelf wear – scratches, mars, or small dents on cover. May have name written on inside cover or leading page, but otherwise no marks on any pages. Spine and interior pages may show some slight discoloration due to age or sun. There may be (or evidence of) a price sticker.

Good: Obvious scratches and significant dents on cover (some may reveal under paper). Binding may be loose, but pages are still snugly attached. May have a few pen or pencil marks on some pages. Spine and interior pages may show some obvious discoloration due to age or sun. There may be (or evidence of) a price sticker.

Acceptable: Telltale signs of age and significant use. Significant tearing or marks on cover. Binding may be “broken” on spine, but pages are still attached. May have a few pen or pencil marks on some pages. Spine and interior pages may show some significant discoloration due to age or sun. There may be (or evidence of) a price sticker.

*Grading categories followed by a + sign indicates only a few of these issues are present.
