While you may come across similar parts online —often used by private hobbyists with desktop 3 D printers—please be aware that these alternatives may look the part, but they simply don’t function as needed. I’ve tested and reviewed many of these versions, and in my professional opinion, most are poorly designed, incorrectly sized, and made from inferior materials (despite what the listings claim). Some pieces might fit, but the set as a whole just won’t work reliably.
