The Basalt contains amygdaloidal "nodules" which may have Greenstone (Chlorastrolite), Thomsonite, Prehnite, Calcite, Feldspar and other minerals inside them. Sometimes a combination.
This is a rough chunk of ore from a copper mine dump in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan.
For lapidary and cabbing. These can make beautiful slabs for display or sale. They can be great for jewelry when cut and polished.
