This impressive antique Edwardian sterling silver bon bon basket has a flared waisted form onto a circular spreading foot.
The well of this silver basket is plain and unembellished.
The body of the basket is embellished with pierced stylised spindle decoration accented with an applied bead and spindle decorated border to the flared shaped rim.
This Edwardian sterling silver basket is fitted with a double bead and spindle decorated bifurcating handle, with a feature interlocking loop to the centre.
The foot of this antique basket is ornamented with a pierced decorated vertical pale border.
ConditionThis antique basket is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear.
