Super Rare Wade Galaxy Tea for Two set in original box - missing one tea plate.
Consists of Teapot and lid (lid has some damage to the enamel black paint)

Milk jug
two x cups and saucers
These are incredibly rare to find - the china is brittle and I guess a lot were smashed, this set looks to have been never used but has considerable crazing meaning you can't really use it as it will stain - so for display only.
The acid yellow and Atomic stars are very 1950s - the this design is in the Victoria And Albert Museum, which says about the design:
Plate is representative of the consumer demand for Contemporary tableware and consequent boom in the production of these goods in post-war Britiain. Bright simple decoration is a predictable reaction to the austerity of the wares enforced by government regulations until 1948. In order to speed up production, manufacturers used stencil patterns and air-brushing techniques. This decoration would most likely have only been used for tea sets: the loud colours and patterns would have been considered too strong for formal dining.
