Almost 300 of these vans were built in 1935-38 for parcels traffic, with some lasting into the 1970s. Some were adapted to work on push pull trains and some were converted into Enginerss mess vans and as such are still in use. Our kit allows the SECR design (without vents) to be built, as well as the Southern style.
