A 9 volume history of India in a rare limited hardcover edition. Only 1000 copies printed for England and America. This is a full set of #715 of 1000. Published by The Grolier Society, London in 1906-1907. Books are leather bound. The leather is dry and dinged or worn off on corners. All books are stamped on inner page "Property of Salem Historical Society, Salem, Ohio" otherwise no markings or inscriptions. 1st volume split binding just inside the front pages and has marks on inner cover where it looks like a library card pocket was removed, but only in this volume. Very nice printing with hundreds of engravings and pictures, many are full page. These books are well over 100 years old, please see photos for condition. They are worn but in remarkable good shape for their age.
