The adapter sports a dual input, Y-Cable like functionality, allowing connection of both a mouse AND a joystick on the same Amiga port. Switching between joystick and mouse is easy; Pressing a joystick fire button activates the joystick, pressing any button mouse button activates the mouse.

The adapter can also be used with no joystick, just a mouse.

Note about the adapter: It’s also possible to use a USB mouse by using a USB to PS/2 converter plug. Beware: most USB mouses do not support the required PS/2 mode. We therefore recommend using a dedicated PS/2 mouse, one with a round green plug, to avoid disappointment.
