Offered is the little Coin Bank from Howard Savings Institution of Newark, New Jersey. This bank was issued from the Springfield Avenue Branch at Bergen Street and offered as a Premium to worthy customers.  The little bank is made by Clearview Bank of Melrose, MA, USA-see photos of bottom.  The bank is clean and shows some wear with scratches and a tiny knick on the bottom edge from many years of use, but no severe damage or rust.  Serial no. 4593.  3-7/8 inches long and 2 inches wide and 2-1/8 inches tall.  The bank has slots for quarters, dimes, nickels and halves.  It has a slot for bills on the opposite side.
