Accu-Chek Performa Box of 50 Test Strips
exp. date: 09/2026

The Accu-Chek Performa test strips from the German company Roche are part of a system that has a self-monitoring mechanism, including the Accu-Chek Performa Glucometer. The electrodes of the test strips work with the system's technology and a key code to conduct in-depth quality control tests and ensure the accuracy of the result with each test. It works so fast that the 6 gold electrodes are not even noticeable. There is a warning mechanism when the test strip expires, which offers additional security in the accuracy of the result and convenience for the user. The test strips compensate for changes in temperature (heat or cold), as well as humidity, in order to ensure a precise and accurate result. When compensation is not possible, the Accu-Chek Performa displays this with a sign. They work with a small amount of blood sample, requiring only 0.6 microliters of blood to measure blood sugar. This means that the puncture can be shallower, and the pain associated with it is less. Additionally, the need for a smaller blood sample reduces the likelihood of underdosing. There is a possibility of re-dosing, and the system will signal if more blood needs to be added for testing. Re-dosing on the same test strip is possible within 5 seconds. The strip uses an extremely fast-filling capillary window, which acts as a funnel and helps draw blood into the strip, thus making dosing more convenient for the user. The test strips have a wide Y-shaped capillary, which allows easy aiming of the sample on the test strip, which is very important for patients with impaired coordination of movements. When the test strip is removed from the bottle, it is good to close it immediately tightly, for proper storage. Available in a package of 50 pieces.
