Accu-Chek Instant are test strips designed to work with Roche Accu-Chek Instant glucometers. Convenient use, allowing quick and easy blood application, which makes them suitable for self-monitoring of blood sugar levels. The test strips allow the device to check their expiration date and warn if it has expired. Each of the strips has an under-dose detection system, which registers when less than the required amount of blood has been applied for the test. Blood application can be performed on the test strip while it is in the device or when it is out of it. The option for double visual control provides additional security regarding the accuracy of the results obtained. For this purpose, it is necessary to compare the color of the used strip with the color chart in the box of test strips. Subsequent testing of a blood sample is possible after 15 seconds.
