Effortless and classic, this A-line wedding dress from Essense of Australia is a natural masterpiece. The overall matte look and rich, textural feel of the gown makes this style completely fresh and modern. Sheerness in the bodice is offset by the organic-shaped cotton laces, forming gentle linear patterns to create a slight corsetry-inspired look. Thin lace straps extend from the V-neckline for an open décolletage, and float into an open V-back with organic edging. Strong horsehair finishes are added to the edge of the tulle skirt for a more prominent shape to this silhouette, and a distinct yet lightly flowing train at the back. This gown zips closed beneath fabric-covered buttons.
Ordered as a Bridal size 12 for bust. Only alteration was tightening up the spaghetti straps about 1/2" in the back. No rips or tears in the lace or the hem. Dress bustles nicely for dancing at the reception. The Dress was Dry cleaned after the wedding and stored in the drycleaner bag.
